May 9 2024 – Marc Crawford, Jeff Paterson & Tyler Yaremchuk

The Comeback Kids do it again! After the big Game 1 win versus the Oilers, Matt and Blake have plenty to chat about and look ahead to with so much of the series left. The guys go over the goaltending question marks of both teams, and whether the stories of the opener are sustainable for the rest of the series.

Marc Crawford breaks down the X’s and O’s of the win, in particular the Canucks' defending of McDavid and Draisaitl, the depth players showing up for the Canucks, and the decision to leave Silovs in to finish the game.

Jeff Paterson joins the guys live immediately following the Canucks media availability, and gives us the latest from the room as they take a rest day off the ice.

To wrap it up, the guys go across enemy lines and check in with OilersNation host Tyler Yaremchuk on what he saw go wrong, and what the Oilers can build on going into Game 2. Presented by Applewood Auto Group.

Game 1 is here! Canucks and Oilers has finally arrived, as the last second-round series FINALLY begin. Matt and Blake go over all the last-minute storylines including the return to the ice of Elias Pettersson after an illness, the rest of the team health update, plus they give their series predictions.

Ryan S. Clark joins the show to discuss his brave prediction, and to explain why he was the only ESPN analyst (out of 24) to choose the Canucks to advance to the Conference Final.

Then it’s Rob Williams, who has had several causes reach conclusion, including Canucks outdoor viewing parties and Translink bus signs. But rest assured, there’s always a catch! May 7 2024 – Mason Raymond, Frank Corrado & Jason Gregor

Just like old times, it feels like it’s the Canucks vs the World again in the NHL Playoffs as the Canucks don’t have much popular support to win the series. Matt and Blake take a look at the reaction around the league and what it’ll need to look like for the Canucks to win the series. Also, the guys get the latest from practice as there was a notable player missing, with just one day left before Game 1.

Former Canuck Mason Raymond stops by to walk down memory lane and talk about playing playoff hockey in Vancouver. He speaks about the entrance music, the pressure, and adrenaline of playoff hockey and about the matchup vs the Oilers.

Frank Corrado jumps in for his weekly visit as well, and gets into the X’s and O’s of this series and how it will differ from Nashville. Frank deals with the PP, the struggle to contain McDavid, and the need for Pettersson to step up.

The Daily Faceoff’s Jason Gregor also joins the guys from Edmonton before the Oilers leave for Vancouver, and breaks down the opposition, with a look at the lines, the special teams, and the surprisingly rare opportunity for these two teams to face other in the playoffs. Presented by Applewood Auto Group.

May 6 2024 – Jeff Paterson & John Shannon

The battle for underdog status has begun as the posturing for Game 1 of the Oilers-Canucks is well underway. Matt and Blake take a look at the series and how it might play out, and how it may differ from what the Canucks saw in the Preds. Which stars will shine for each side and who will get exposed?

Jeff Paterson stops by with his take as well, talking about the key special teams battles, who will be in charge of keeping an eye on McDavid, and who will be left standing in the respective fanbases as the western Canadian showdown takes its toll!

Then, John Shannon stops by with his experience on the TV side and tells us how the broadcast decisions are made and how the round 2 schedule came to be. Plus, John talks about the importance of an all-Canadian matchup and ensuring at least one Canadian team gets into the final four. All that, plus a big edition of The Golf Report as another Canadian finds his way into the winner’s circle. Presented by Applewood Auto Group.

May 2 2024 – Maxim Lapierre & Jeff Paterson

As the Canucks get in one more practice before Game 6 in Nashville, Matt and Blake take stock in what’s happened so far, and who has been up or down based on their regular season. With no changes to the lines at practice, the guys bat around what changes still could be made.

Special guest and host of La Poche Bleue, Maxim Lapierre, joins the guys to walk down memory lane of the Canucks 2011 run. He talks about what it takes to close out a series, what it feels like to win in Vancouver, and what true team chemistry feels like.

Then it’s Jeff Paterson from Rink Wide: Vancouver on the likelihood of victory for the Canucks in Game 6, and what adjustments need to be made to get it. Jeff talks about the PP and a possible full-time reunion of the Lotto line. All this, plus the Lions announce a huge signing and the Whitecaps get set for a big weekend!
