The Washington Capitals traded winger Anthony Mantha to the Vegas Golden Knights, reports TSN's Darren Dreger.
The return is not yet known.
Mantha is in the midst of a resurgent campaign. He recorded 20 goals and 14 assists in 56 games with the Capitals this season.
The Golden Knights' search for help on the wing has been no secret since it was reported that captain Mark Stone will miss the remainder of the regular season and is questionable for the playoffs.
