The Philadelphia Flyers have reason to thank their fiercest rivals.
Needing a win to help secure a playoff spot, the Flyers will face a Pittsburgh Penguins team that has chosen to rest star players Sidney Crosby and Kris Letang, head coach Mike Sullivan announced 90 minutes prior to puck drop.
The game marks the last on the schedule for the Penguins, who have already clinched second place in the Metropolitan Division. The Flyers, on the other hand, are on the outside looking in, with two games to go.
