Texas Rangers honor Canadian junior hockey team involved in fatal bus crash

Hosting the Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday evening, the Texas Rangers held a pregame moment of silence for the Humboldt Broncos, a Canadian junior hockey team that was involved in a bus crash that killed multiple people Friday.

The Broncos' bus, carrying 29 people, was involved in a crash with a transport truck on Friday while en route to a Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League playoff game. As of Saturday evening, 15 deaths had been confirmed by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

Marcus Stroman, the starting pitcher for the Blue Jays on Saturday, also wrote "Humboldt Broncos" on his hat, along with "SK" - the abbreviation for the province of Saskatchewan where the Broncos play.
