Blue Jackets’ Boll suspended 4 games for hit on Flyers’ Bellemare

Columbus Blue Jackets forward Jared Boll has been suspended four games without pay for interference on Philadelphia Flyers winger Pierre-Edouard Bellemare on Tuesday night.

As a repeat offender, Boll will forfeit nearly $83,000.

He was given a five-minute major and a game misconduct for delivering a high hit that the league described as "excessively late and incredibly forceful."

Bellemare stayed in the game after the collision.
