With the New Jersey Devils badly in need of a win Saturday against the Washington Capitals to stay in the playoff hunt, forward Kyle Palmieri certainly did his part to help.
After picking up an assist on a Travis Zajac goal, the 25-year-old sniped an incredible shot from the goal line over the crouched Braden Holtby and into the far top corner to give the Devils a 2-1 lead.
