Kasperi Kapanen's second goal of the night was an enormous one.
The Toronto Maple Leafs forward ended a marathon Game 2 against the Washington Capitals in the second overtime period, slipping one past Braden Holtby after a great backhand pass by Brian Boyle to give the Leafs a 4-3 victory.
Toronto tied the series at one game apiece and stole home-ice advantage away from the Presidents' Trophy winners, with Game 3 scheduled for Monday night at Air Canada Centre.
Kapanen's first playoff goal evened the contest midway through the second period.
