A former NHL pest put Gustav Nyquist's six-game suspension in perspective as only he could.
Boston Bruins farmhand Zac Rinaldo had a strong yet predictable response when someone suggested the Detroit Red Wings forward should've been suspended four additional games for spearing Minnesota Wild defenseman Jared Spurgeon in the face.
Rinaldo was suspended multiple times in both the NHL and AHL for various transgressions over the years.
It's no secret that repeat offenders are punished more severely than first-timers, and Rinaldo's clearly exaggerating, but his point is clear.
The former Bruins and Philadelphia Flyers agitator has spent the entire 2016-17 season outside the NHL, but at least he isn't behind bars.
