The Calgary Flames received more bad news Wednesday, as the team announced that forward Johnny Gaudreau has suffered a fractured finger that will require surgery.
Gaudreau suffered the injury Tuesday versus the Minnesota Wild. He will undergo surgery on Wednesday. The team will provide a timeline on his recovery in the coming days.
Gaudreau has appeared in all 17 games and is the team's leading scorer with 11 points.
The Flames sit fifth place in the Pacific Division with a 6-10-1 record and have won just two of seven games in November.
