Watch: McDavid sets up Nugent-Hopkins’ 1st of season with kick pass

Who knew Connor McDavid was a multi-sport athlete?

The Edmonton Oilers captain set up teammate Ryan Nugent-Hopkins' first goal of the season with a soccer-style kick pass that gave the Oilers a power-play goal and an early 1-0 lead over the New York Rangers on Thursday night.

It was McDavid's eighth assist and 13th point in 11 games. Nugent-Hopkins was held off the scoresheet in each of his first 10 contests despite chipping in five helpers.
