The Montreal Canadiens will be without Carey Price for at least two games to begin what they hope will be a bounce-back season. Based on the club's latest update, however, there's a chance his absence could be longer.
Montreal announced Friday that Price is suffering from a "severe" case of the flu, and has been put on antibiotics while being evaluated at home daily by team doctor David Mulder.
The Canadiens won their season opener, with Al Montoya stopping 30-of-31 shots in goal. It's expected that Montoya will be in net again Saturday in Ottawa.
