Brandon Dubinsky is not ready to let bygones be bygones regarding his ongoing feud with Sidney Crosby.

The longtime NHL center - who's still under contract with the Columbus Blue Jackets but has been on long-term injured reserve and hasn't played since 2018-19 - had some choice words for the Pittsburgh Penguins captain during an appearance on The Garage and Beers Podcast on Thursday.

"Everybody wants to talk about Sid and (Alex Ovechkin) or whatever," Dubinsky said. "Dude, f--- Sid. I'll take Ovi every day of the week."

Dubinsky took to Twitter to double down on his take.

While Ovechkin is already arguably the greatest goal scorer of all time, Crosby is considered to be more complete and well-rounded.

Dubinsky has his own biases, though - during his playing career, he and Crosby went at it on numerous occasions.

In 2010, then as a member of the New York Rangers, Dubinsky called Crosby a dirty player and a complainer. In 2015, Crosby fought Dubinsky while the latter was with Columbus. Nine months later, Dubinsky crosschecked Crosby in the neck and earned a one-game suspension.

Last year, Crosby said he does have regrets about complaining to the refs too much early in his career, according to Sportsnet's Jeff Marek.

Dubinsky, who is unlikely to suit up in the NHL again due to a chronic wrist injury, registered 438 points in 823 games during his 13-year career.
