The Vancouver Canucks and defenseman Alex Edler have agreed to a two-year contract with an annual average value of $6 million, the team announced Thursday
Edler has played all 13 years of his career in Vancouver after being selected by the Canucks in the third round of the 2004 NHL Draft.
