The Calgary Flames are expected to sign former Carolina Hurricanes forward Derek Ryan to a three-year contract on Sunday, according to TSN's Frank Seravalli.

The deal will pay the 31-year-old a total of $9.375 million, according to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman.
