The Calgary Flames have fired head coach Glen Gulutzan, as well as assistant coaches Dave Cameron and Paul Jerrard.

The Flames missed the playoffs in his second season behind the bench.

Gulutzan helped them qualify for the postseason in 2016-17, but they were swept out of the first round by the Anaheim Ducks.

He's the second NHL head coach fired since April 7, when the New York Rangers dismissed Alain Vigneault on the final Saturday night of the regular season.
