Marchand fined for diving/embellishment

Boston Bruins forward Brad Marchand was fined $2,000 for diving/embellishment by the NHL, the league announced Friday.

Here's a look at the play, which occurred March 1 against the Pittsburgh Penguins:

Marchand received a warning from the NHL for a similar incident against the Tampa Bay Lightning in November. Another violation of Rule 64 (diving/embellishment) would cost him $3,000, per the league's fine system for the regulation.
