The Philadelphia Flyers claimed defenseman Johnny Oduya off waivers from the Ottawa Senators on Monday.
Oduya had eight points in 51 games with the Senators after agreeing to a one-year deal with Ottawa last July.
The 36-year-old is a pending unrestricted free agent with a $1-million cap hit.
It could cost the Flyers a bit more than that, too:
#Flyers are now on the hook for as much as $1M in potential Performance Bonuses for Johnny Oduya.
