The Vegas Golden Knights set yet another record Wednesday night, securing the most points in a single season by an NHL expansion franchise with a 7-3 victory over the Calgary Flames.
They now have 84 points and continue to sit atop the Pacific Division with a record of 40-16-4.
The Golden Knights broke the previous mark set by the 1993-94 Florida Panthers, who finished with 83 points and a record of 33-34-17.
