  • Calgary Flames goaltender Chad Johnson turned aside all 10 shots he faced for the shutout.
  • The victory moved the Canadians (5-0-1-0) into first in Group B ahead of the Czech Republic.
  • Canada finishes its preliminary schedule Tuesday against fourth-place Finland.
