Boudreau didn’t yank Dubnyk to spark Wild: ‘It was on him’

Bruce Boudreau wasn't coddling his No. 1 goalie after a loss to Chicago on Sunday.

The Minnesota Wild head coach pulled Devan Dubnyk early in the first period after the Blackhawks scored two goals on two shots.

After the game, Boudreau made it clear the message was aimed right at Dubnyk, not the team as a whole.

Dubnyk is tied with Sergei Bobrovsky for the NHL lead in wins (36), and his save percentage (.931) remains tops among all regular starting goalies.

For a few minutes, however, Boudreau clearly didn't like what he was seeing.
