Good news: Arizona Coyotes forward Alex Burmistrov avoided serious injury after being leveled by Boston Bruins defenseman Colin Miller on Tuesday night and being stretchered off the ice.
UPDATE: Burmistrov was transported to a Boston hospital for further evaluation. He was treated & released & will rejoin the team tonight.

Burmistrov, who gave two thumbs up as he was taken off the ice, took to Snapchat after being sent to a local Boston hospital, as the kids do these days.

Coyotes head coach Dave Tippett said the club knew shortly after Burmistrov left the arena that he was doing fine and undergoing tests, and called the play a hockey hit.
Tippett on hit: "He was in a vulnerable position, but it's a hockey hit. Burmy's head is down, and it's a hard hit."

"You never like to see anybody get hurt, but I don't think it was an intentional hit to hurt somebody," Tippett added.
Miller reached out to Burmistrov, according to CSNNE.com's Joe Haggarty, and it appears there are no hard feelings.
Colin Miller thought he eased up into Burmistrov hit, but also reached out to him via text. Burmistrov said he was ok & it was "hockey play"
