The Chicago Blackhawks appear to have mined a gem in Alex DeBrincat.
The 19-year-old winger, who was selected 39th overall at the 2016 NHL Draft, assisted on a goal by Dylan Strome on Wednesday, giving him his third straight 100-point season for the OHL's Erie Otters.

He's also closing in on making history as an American-born player in the OHL.
Third straight season he has scored at least 100 pts & 3 goals away from being the first U.S.-born player to score 50 goals in 3 seasons.
