If you're heading to Washington to face the Capitals, the result's a formality.
The Anaheim Ducks were the latest victim of the Caps, dropping a 6-4 decision to the NHL's best team Saturday. And by again filling the net, Washington tied a league record:
The #Caps have scored 5+ goals in 11 straight home games, tying the NHL record (1970-71 Boston).

Overall, the Capitals have won six straight and 12 in a row at home.
The club is now off on it's league-mandated bye week, and won't play again until Feb. 18 in Detroit, the start of a three-game road trip and a stretch of four of five away from D.C.
