Ottawa Senators defenseman Mark Borowiecki is scheduled to have a hearing Sunday for boarding Los Angeles Kings forward Tyler Toffoli, the NHL's Department of Player Safety announced.
Borowiecki was given a five-minute major for the hit, and consequently was forced to drop the gloves following the collision.
Toffoli, meanwhile was unharmed on the play.
