The Tucson Roadrunners are rallying support for captain Craig Cunningham, who remains in critical but stable condition after collapsing prior to Saturday's game.
In a tweet sent Tuesday, the AHL club invited the hockey world to join in supporting Cunningham and family by using #CunnyCan, and many quickly jumped at the opportunity to come alongside one of their own.
Much of the support is emanating from Arizona and Boston, in light of Cunningham's connection to the Coyotes and Bruins.
Keeping former @NHLBruins, @AHLBruins and Springfield Falcon Craig Cunningham and his family in our thoughts #CunnyCan https://t.co/tvV5HNJqUL
