The Colorado Avalanche will have a big boost to their lineup when they take on the Columbus Blue Jackets on Monday, as the team announced center Matt Duchene is set to return.
Duchene missed the last four games after suffering a concussion. The 25-year-old is a key piece in Colorado's offense, with 11 points through 13 games this season. He sits one point back of Nathan MacKinnon for the team lead in scoring.
The Avalanche, winners of two of their last three after scoring victories over the Minnesota Wild and Los Angeles Kings, rank last in the Central with a 8-9-0 record.
