The 22-year-old Tryamkin recorded two points in 13 games with the Canucks last season. He has yet to play this season, while a clause in his contract also keeps the Russian defender from reporting to the AHL.
Tryamkin has been a healthy scratch for the past 10 games after failing to report to training camp in game shape.
