The Chicago Blackhawks may have found an answer on the wing, as forward Richard Panik scored three goals in a game for the first time in his NHL career in a 5-3 win Saturday over the Nashville Predators.
Panik put his team ahead 3-0 in the first frame, and then grabbed a pair of goals in the third period. All three goals came at even strength.
The winger has recorded at least one point all three games this season.
The 25-year-old played 30 games with the Blackhawks last season, scoring six goals and two assists after joining the team via a trade with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
