Somewhere, the Edmonton Oilers are cringing.
Nail Yakupov scored his first goal with the St. Louis Blues on Thursday night, skating into the Minnesota Wild zone and firing a slap shot past goaltender Devan Dubnyk to give the Blues a 2-1 lead midway through the second period.
Yakupov was playing his second game for St. Louis after being traded by the Oilers last Friday for forward Zach Pochiro and a conditional third-round pick in 2017.
