Rich Clune scored the decisive goal in a thrilling Game 7 in Toronto on Monday night, sending the Marlies to the AHL's Eastern Conference Finals, where they'll face the Hershey Bears.

The Marlies won the game and the series 4-3.

Kasperi Kapanen finished with a goal and an assist, Connor Carrick continued his excellent playoffs, scoring his sixth of the postseason, and William Nylander added an assist.
The Devils' Paul Thompson had two goals, as Albany gave the AHL-best Marlies everything they could handle in a tightly contested series, despite dealing with myriad injuries.

The Western Conference Final will feature the Lake Erie Monsters against the Ontario Reign. The Monsters eliminated the Grand Rapids Griffins in overtime of Game 6 on Monday, with Zach Werenski scoring the golden goal.
