Florida Panthers forward Reilly Smith went for a ride Sunday after New York Islanders defenseman Thomas Hickey caught the 25-year-old with a devastating hip check.

The hit was a thing of beauty, but nevertheless garnered a two-minute minor for interference - a penalty that was ultimately killed off by the Islanders.
