The Los Angeles Kings have life thanks to Tanner Pearson.
The 23-year-old scored the overtime-winner just 3:47 into the extra period Monday. Pearson collected the puck at the Sharks' blue line and walked in, snapping a shot five-hole on San Jose Sharks goaltender Martin Jones to give the Kings a 2-1 victory in Game 3 and cut the Sharks' series lead to 2-1.
The win guarantees the Kings will have a chance at redemption at home in Game 5 after dropping Games 1 and 2 at Staples Center.
The Kings will have the chance to even the series Wednesday.
