The Pittsburgh Penguins have landed the nation's highest-scoring collegiate defenseman.
Ethan Prow signed a two-year, two-way entry-level contract with the Penguins, beginning next season, the club announced Tuesday.
The 23-year-old will report to the AHL's Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on an amateur tryout for the rest of this season.
Prow led all Division I blue-liners with 38 points in 37 regular-season games for St. Cloud State, the NCAA tournament's second overall seed that was upset by Ferris State on Saturday.
