Jagr becomes 2nd in history to score 25 goals in 18 seasons

Less than five minutes after Florida Panthers forward Vincent Trocheck scored his team-leading 25th goal of the season, a man twice his age matched him on the power play.

Jaromir Jagr, 44, reached the 25-goal mark for the first time since the 2007-08 season when he played with the New York Rangers, accomplishing the feat Saturday against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

It's Jagr's 18th career 25-goal season, second-most in NHL history, passing Mike Gartner's 17.

The Czech winger still has a chance at hitting 30 goals before season's end, with seven games remaining. He last accomplished that feat in the 2006-07 campaign.

The ageless wonder has amazed many with his play this season, but his performance Saturday apparently didn't impress Minnesota Twins pitcher and die-hard Lightning fan Phil Hughes:
